Comfort food for some comes in the form of mac and cheese, fried chicken, or maybe even a PB&J sandwich. For me, my comfort food is anything on Verde's menu. Their food is so dang tasty! There's a familiarity with their dishes (which, along with their cocktail menu, change seasonally) but the ingredients and garnishes are so well thought out that they elevate the dish to the next level. And don't EVEN get me started on their mixed drinks!

Long story short, Verde is one of - if not - my favorite restaurants on the Island and we never fail to bring out-of-town guests and friends here. I've been hesitant to post a review for fear they'll get so busy and crowded that my husband and I will no longer be able to just walk in and sit at the bar. But the food, drinks, and service are so on point here that it'd be selfish - even criminal - of me to not post their awesomeness on here.
